STANLEY/BARKER is delighted to announce the release of Eternal Orchard, a new artist portfolio by P. Guilmouth.

Eternal Orchard draws down a moonlit landscape, where mud / earth envelop, and flowers are wet with a shimmering dew. Scenes of moths, a mud soaked demo derby driver, spiders, birds in flight, tamed deer, and careful rituals. Eternal Orchard is a love letter to the place P. lives, a small town in rural Maine, and the friends and neighbours who surround them.

Eternal Orchard contains ten artefacts all housed within a handmade box made from locally sourced pine wood, beneath a painstakingly captured spider web. 

—Spider web pressed between acrylic sheets

—Eight inkjet photographs

—Unique sheet of symbol’s coloured by decaying flowers, berries, fungi and moss 

— Colour print from a glass plate negative coated with organic matter

— Colour image printed on mouldy paper found inside an abandoned house

Produced in edition of 10, by the the artists own hands, each set will vary slightly and will contain signs of its production. Each object is signed and numbered by the artist.
